Henry's Fork Foundation
Project type
Photographs
Date
Summer 2019
Location
Ashton, Idaho
My internship in communications with the Henry's Fork Foundation in Ashton, Idaho consisted of producing high quality photographs for print and social media use. My photographs are utilized to this day for publications, social media, website use, and more. I recently had a photograph from my time capturing the "Farm and Fish" program with HFF published in a 2024 edition of Fly Fisher Magazine.
HFF is a non profit whose mission is to conserve, protect, and restore the unique fisheries, wildlife, and aesthetic qualities of the Henry's Fork-- one of the most famous and pristine fisheries in the United States. I communicated weekly flow and water reports and wrote excerpts for newsletters and blogs in addition to tagging along on projects to capture the work that the foundation did to protect the Henrys Fork Watershed. I absolutely loved being tasked with capturing the essence of a project with my photographs to tell a story and engage supporters in the foundation's mission.
